A Tesla Model X with the latest updates has been seen at a Tesla lot, showing how the company has made a variety of small changes to improve the SUV’s style and capabilities. The Lunar Silver color option for Model X was spotted at Fremont. Although Tesla has not said anything yet, people have pointed out several clues that the company is working on improvements.
The changes in the latest refresh, though not a big shift, prove Tesla wishes to bring the Model X into line with the direction its other vehicles are taking. Like the refreshed Model Y codename ‘Juniper’.
Exterior Updates
Front Bumper Camera
The front bumper has a discreetly positioned camera that provides quality shots at the front of the car. This part is added to install Full Self-Driving (FSD) and might help the vehicle see well when driving down hills. Additional cameras are very helpful when maneuvering on a city street or in a parking area.
The company is following a new design style in which it relies more on vision when designing its vehicles for autonomy. While Tesla eliminated ultrasonic sensors in favor of Tesla Vision, putting this camera in the car seems to support and boost the system’s operations.
New 20-Inch Wheels
Also, you can notice the new 20-inch wheels. They have a sleek and contemporary design that looks like they improve a car’s ability to cut through the air around it. To accomplish what Tesla wants, the new wheels now show off the company’s commitment to both efficiency and style.
Even though the change is not revolutionary, it still makes the car more attractive and in line with recent Tesla models.

Interior Ambient Lighting Strip
A thin ambient lighting strip placed on the dashboard stands out as the main change inside the cabin. Having this feature makes the Model X much like the updated Model 3 and upgrades the interior feeling. Ambient lights help to improve how your car looks and also make it easier and safer to drive at night.
The reason behind this alteration is Tesla’s wish to further enhance cabin appearance, adding more features that express luxury.
