Tesla has officially announced the new Model 3 Standard (RWD) in Europe. The new base Model 3 will be sold at a competitive price, with a larger range, new features, and a modernized interior, making Tesla achieve greater popularity in the market without losing its performance and efficiency reputation. The official pricing starts at €36,990. The deliveries will begin in February 2026.
Since the Model 3 Standard, pricing has started at just €36,990, and it will offer tremendous value in the European EV market. Despite being the entry-level version, it can achieve a very impressive 534 km WLTP range (about 332 miles), putting it ahead of most of its competitors. With this range, one is able to drive long distances, have long commutes, and even comfortable road trips without having to charge the battery on a regular basis.
The car has a rear-wheel-drive system that keeps Tesla with its characteristic acceleration. Its top speed is 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, which is faster than a number of gasoline sedans of equivalent prices.

Design Updates and New Exterior Elements
The new Model 3 Standard follows the smooth, minimalistic look that Tesla is known for, with additions and modifications that improve the look and service. The front bumper camera is one of the most interesting additions that provides the car with a larger field of view to improve safety and support enhanced driver-assistance technology offered by Tesla.

The panoramic glass roof that will be used on the model also provides space and natural light to the cabin. In balancing style and efficiency, Tesla provides the car with sleek 18-inch Prismata wheels.
There will be three exterior paint colors that buyers can select: Pearl White (included), Diamond Black (€1,300), and Stealth Grey (€1,300).
Interior Simplicity With a Focus on Essentials
Tesla maintains its minimalist, technology-oriented interior design, but the Model 3 Standard also comes with several cost-saving options that distinguish it from higher trims.
Vegan leather seats with textile inserts are installed in the cabin, which is a combination of sustainability and comfort. The front seats are heated, but back seat passengers get manually foldable seats with manually adjustable air vents. The interior design is based on the use of textile accents, which provide a pleasant, contemporary appearance.
Another key feature is the large 15.4-inch touchscreen that serves as the control centre of almost all the driving operations and entertainment options. Nonetheless, this Standard does not have the rear touchscreen, which is now a feature of higher trims.
The model has a 7-speaker sound system, which is a basic one relative to the high-end audio of Tesla in the higher-priced models. There is no interior ambient lighting, and certain automated features (e.g., manual side mirrors setting, no auto-dimming side mirrors) contribute to the overall cost minimization but do not diminish the refined experience.
Mechanical and Suspension Simplifications
Tesla uses a simplified suspension system featuring passive shock absorbers instead of adaptive ones in more high-end trims to keep the prices low. To most drivers, this will also provide a comfortable driving balance and responsive handling, but performance enthusiasts might perceive a more generic driving experience.
Despite these simplifications, Tesla’s engineering aspect has ensured that the automobile does not lose the fine control, center of gravity, and fluid electric power transfer.
