Although Tesla has not officially verified any information, the teaser matches exactly with reports that the Performance variant will finally make it into the lineup with the Model Y after staying off since the “Juniper” refresh in the first quarter of this year.

The Model Y Performance has long been set apart with dramatic styling elements, and the updated model is expected to do the same.
